Beyond the World Cup: Keeping up momentum around women’s sports

In the run up to the Fifa Women’s World Cup, brands like Budweiser, Mars, Barclays and Coca-Cola have aligned themselves with the women’s game through lucrative partnerships and sponsorship deals. But how do we ensure brands continue to support women’s sport after summer, and what opportunities are brands missing out on by not branching into other women’s leagues and tournaments? The Drum’s senior reporter Rebecca Stewart is joined by a panel of experts from across the industry to discuss.

Panellists include:

  • Benny Bonsu, head of women's sport, GiveMeSport
  • Bex Smith, global executive director of the women's game, Copa90
  • Misha Sher, worldwide vice-president, sport and entertainment, MediaCom
  • Paul Reynolds, managing director and partner, Massive Music
  • Laura Froelich, head of US content partnerships, Twitter
  • Rebecca Stewart, senior reporter, The Drum (moderator)
