The new rules of innovation: creativity, tech, talent and purpose

Online

Can marketing really change the world? Which creative ideas are pursuing innovation for the good of society and the planet? What can we learn from them and how can we apply this to our own work?

The Drum has partnered with Adobe to look at how our industry is not simply about creating campaigns but creating ideas that go well beyond advertising. We will be joined by a panel of creatives and social change champions who will showcase work that is not solely driven by an advertising format or by econometrics or shiny new tech, but by becoming a part of the culture.

This session will cover:

  • Technology is changing what it means to be creative. But how do you create a collective experience where the two work in collaboration and help drive positive change?
  • How are we designing for the differences and inconsistencies in our lives?
  • The new generation—of both talent and consumers—expects businesses to look beyond profit and to positively impact society. How do businesses take meaningful stands?
  • In this fractured world, what are the key drivers of change?
  • How does the world of creativity address issues around inclusion and diversity?

Panelists:

Meg Moss, senior manager business development, Adobe
Sonoo Singh, associate editor, The Drum (moderator)
