Game On: Keeping up momentum around women’s sports
In the run up to the Fifa Women’s World Cup, brands like Budweiser and Coca-Cola aligned themselves with women's soccer through lucrative partnerships and sponsorship deals. In the US brands like P&G and Visa are leading by example, funnelling investment into the women's game.
With the summer of sport drawing to a close, however, how do we ensure brands continue to support women's sport more widely? And given the popularity of stars like Serena Williams and Megan Rapinoe what opportunities are they missing out on by not doing so?
